I was wondering what kind of glue people use for their bridges. We have tried several kinds but the bridge we're bringing to nationals, we used epoxy.

Balsa USA, Gold Thin or Medium Cya.
I prefer thin for balsa. Press the two pieces tightly together, put a drop of glue at the joint. It only takes a tiny bit. This glue is the best stuff you can buy, IMO. Cheap Cya has a lot of contaminants in it, like water etc that makes the final joint brittle. Also, remember to only use fresh glue. Old glue doesn't cure fast enough and creates weak joints. Store unopened bottles in the fridge, and let them warm to room temp before use.

Good thin, Cya polymerizes (hardens into a crystalline structure in the presence of H2O) very rapidly and produces a strong, light joint.
You get what you pay for. Cheap glue is cheap. Balsa USA Gold is the best stuff I've found.
I usually buy 4 or 5 bottles at a time to save on shipping. Glue can be stored in the fridge, unopened, for a long time. It will stay fresh that way. Doesn't like UV light, or heat.
