Re: Is Science Olympiad worth it?
I know everyone else had talked about the team aspect of SO, but I'm going to have to repeat it. My SO team became my family. They were the only friends I had for a long time. And they truly saved my life. Slowly but surly, my team and coaches pulled me out of a deep depression I was in 6th Grade. B...

Re: Pennsylvania 2010
Which one did you have? I just happened to have one about the electromagnetic spectrum and my best event last year just happened to be Crave the Wave... That was exactly what happened to me. I'm not from NM, but I'm curious to know-- does anyone here go to Mesa View Middle School? I know one of the teachers there very well. Just curious.

Re: Pennsylvania 2010
You have never seen my grade, well maybe you have but not that much. Pentathlon was so funny. A pentathlon person on our team poured the whole bucket of water on the other guy. Watching someone who thinks that they're so athletic completely fail at bouncing on the ball was pretty funny too  :l...

Re: Pennsylvania 2010
I'm a really sore loser and I recognize that since Shady Side is a private school, we don't have that many kids willing to do science olympiad. Since our school is located in Pittsburgh's rich district (where i don't live), many kids there are just stuck up filthy rich/stupid kids who are too rich ...

This is my last year of B Division Science Olympiad, and though I'm probably gonna return for C, I just wanted to take this time to thank everyone who made the experience what it was for...
