Re: Efficiencies

I'm not really sure...I'm basing this off of old Elevated Bridge scores (i.e. taking how well the bridges did and equating that to the modified system for towers).

Edit: Although now that I think about it, a score of 15 would probably get you low 20s and a score of 20 would probably get mid-to-upper-teens.

I guess none of us really know for sure. When was the last time Towers was an event for B division?

..I had an efficiency of I think 24.2ish at States, and I only made 5th place for my tower. When I was watching the other towers go, I was afraid that I wasn't even going to medal, since a lot of them did really well.
If I brought the same tower to Nationals, I have doubts that I would have gotten in the top 15, but I really don't know.

If I'm not mistaken, I think Towers rotates with Elevated Bridge along with Boomilever.
..And I don't know if it's set in stone for a 2 year rotation, but looking at previous rotations, it seems to be so.

Yup, but boomilever is only in C division. Word on the street is that towers may possibly get even harder next year with an new variable thrown in

Hmmm... I wonder who's leaking all our 'secret' committee discussions about next year's rules? ;)

But seriously, we are considering incorporating height into the scoring formula (i.e. taller towers get more points). As I've done for other events, I'm happy to hear and pass along feedback about this idea (or any other you might have).
