Lamination
Last year was just my first year for towers and will most likely be getting it again this year so after hearing about people using lamination in there towers and doing very well I have a few questions I was wondering if anyone could answer?
1. Is lamination a legal way to bond wood together?
2. If so how would you use the lamination to bond the wood?
3. Does lamination work or make any effective diffrence in your towers?
Thank you much

Re: Lamination
1. Lamination is legal, the rules say so.
2. Basically it's when you take the balsa, and glue another piece on top of it.
3. Sometimes it is, but when you get to nationals and states, I wouldn't/didn't do it. It adds weight and usually you can get the safe effect more efficiently, so most people don't do it.
Also, make sure and read this WHOLE towers forum...it sounds awfully boring and repetitive but it's really useful. You can skim, just remember this really important resource.
