From Science Olympiad Student Center Event Wiki
Since joining the Science Olympiad organization in 1985, New York has boasted the greatest school participation throughout the country, having upwards of six hundred teams participate in its regional competitions. The state is divided into eleven regions for each division, which feed into a state competitions in early March.

- The Division B State Competition is held at SUNY New Paltz and the Division C State Competition is held at West Point Military Academy.
