Tri-North Middle School is located in Bloomington, Indiana. It goes to the Butler Regional every year and has won almost every year. Tri-North Middle School feeds into Bloomington High School North, which has a very distinguished Science Olympiad team. Tri-North Middle School's best placing in the state competition is 3rd, which it achieved most recently in the 2015 State Finals at Indiana University.
Tri-North also placed 4th in Indiana in 2014, and 5th place finishes include 1998, 2006, 2011, and 2013.
Members from TNMS won the state championship for two events, Anatomy and Disease Detectives, in 2015.
