Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

@peoneill lol that test was really long...so my partner and I decided to split up the test. I honestly didn't even look at the packet. I did study the Endocrine system a lot because I thought it would be important at State. But when it came down to it I had to choose between doing the Endocrine Pack...

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

Well I'm graduating this year. Although it's over for me I am looking forward to going to the competitions next year and helping out without actually competing, that should be fun. And state is supposed to be at Purdue Cal next year so maybe I can volunteer to help out.

Re: Indiana Science Olympiad

The tests were definitely challenging. That cell bio test killed us. But the Anatomy test pigeon me off, I didn't have time to write the bonus essay and that was 15 points. It was a very long test. Congratulations on qualifying for Nationals though. Good Luck!

Re: Egg-O-Naut C

You have to consider that making it that big will increase the mass of the rocket. We launched today with a 6ft parachute. It deployed, didn't go as high as I had hoped, idk why yet but I am going to analyze the video I took. Also, two of the strings stuck together (the duct tape where we attach the...

Re: Egg-O-Naut C

What types of materials do you use to make your parachute?
I use a garbage bag..It works, but I'm sure there's something better that could be used.
Definitely dropcloth. It's pretty cheap and you can buy it at Home Depot, Lowes, Menards, etc. Just try to get the thinnest one.
