Re: Fossils B/C

Allosaurus and Stegosaurus both lived in the Jurassic but at different times right? So they couldn't have met each other?

Also why is Apatosaurus a "deceptive lizard?"

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C

For 2, just look at the map, find the river and estimate the area of the basin. For 5, look at the flood graph, divide it into 30 year chunks and read the height of the tallest bar in each chunk. Average that, and that's the 30 year flood. As for the diagram in A, I'm guessing a little here but I b...

Re: Dynamic Planet B/C

2 questions that I was confused about at my regional competition: 1. Why are tropical lakes more likely to become hypoxic than arctic lakes? 2. What is stream competency? Any help would be greatly appreciated. 1. Hypoxic-low oxygen content. In Arctic lakes, the surface ices over every year. Since f...

Re: Ornithology B/C

I just heard this bird outside my window (it's about eleven at night where I am) and I know it's not a Great Horned Owl and it may not be a bird on the list whose call we have to know, but I'm wondering if anyone knows it. It's like 3 almost hooting sounds but they're separate, distinct from one ano...

I can't really find any good pictures for epsilon aurigae though. And you know how typically the images that show up on google are the colorized ones where things aren't really the color that they are in the picture but they add the color to kind of make it easier to see things? Will they ever use ...

Re: Remote Sensing C

So before I read all 250 pages of the Canada Center tutorial, are all sections worth it? I'm willing to read the whole thing, don't get me wrong, but only if it'll all be at least potentially worthwhile. Also if I go through the Canada one do i need to go through the NASA one too?
