same, we have a couple of good schools, but I think I can medal. Recently, I have gotten lucky and gotten a ratio around 1000. I think it should be able to medal. omg, you guys(wwp hs north) were like head to head with wwp hs south :o our school(EBHS) got 7th, but atleast we're going to states! ^_^

well i didn't acutally do this event and i didn't watch this event for a long time, but on the table to the side where all the bridges and most of them were arches. well i think arches would be lighter then straight bridges cause it uses a little bit of less wood, like how going diagonal is faster....

I just used a piece of 3/4" plywood to make my block. Specs say it will be 2.0 cm thick, 3/4" plywood is 1.9" so that is pretty close. Cut it to 5.0 cm x 5.0 cm on a table saw, then drilled a hold in it and out in an eyebolt and washers as per the description. It's the same block I used for Boomile...

you can make a loading block its a 5cm x 5cm x 1.25cm piece of wood with a metal chain hanging down from it, then you put a 5 gallon bucket to the end of the chain and add sand to it. ohhh. so do you just like screw a hook in the block?? i've seen like other ppl test there's with a metal plate, do ...

hi guys, i'm a newbie here xP and i was just wondering, how do you guys like test your bridge? where do you get the loading block? etc. my team is sort of a mess right now cuz the coach is new and he doesn't really know exactly what to do. >.<
