And one more thing... does anyone have any experience with taking last year's National test? It's my first year on varsity Science Olympiad, so I don't have much experience. Since the font is so small, I'm going to color every other line in red so that it is more readable. My other teammates did this, and it seemed to work pretty well.

I'd say upper -teens and low twenties (with a few scores beyond that, from schools who are really good with building events). A score of 22.5 would mean that you had a 10g tower that held all the weight, and I'm thinking most "good" towers at the Regional level (even for overly competitiv...

right now with our design, the top portion and the base are two separate pieces. whenever we test, the tower always breaks at that connection. we're trying to figure out a way of making it just a single piece but we don't know how to go about that. any suggestions?

Yeah, I had a 9.7 gram tower that held all 15 kilos so a 23.1 efficiency. :D
