okay so I'm still kinda not certain what books/ guides are best to bring. I think we will probably bring the petersons since we have studied using that one the most. any recommendations for what other book to bring? Are the national geographic books good? or should we find an encyclopedia book?

woah we're supposed to know eggs? where do you get information, besides for pictures, because I've only been able to find stuff on how to raise a bird egg and somehow I don't think that is going to be helpful.

You went to the Olympics? that is soooo cool. My brothers' physics teacher went, but didn't stay that long....I think it would be fun to volunteer for the Olympics, but i guess they are not going to be in the US for a while....

Okay thank you! Did anyone else have taxidermied (not sure that is the write verb, i guess the right verb is "stuffed") birds at their competitions? Were there a lot of timed things like power points and stations?
