Okay so reviewing the rules (even though this isn't one of my events its still pretty neat so I got rules for it) I saw that the tie breakers were 1. Fewest penalty points and 2. Longest time of operation up to 60 seconds. Right now i could see how it would work, but talking to some of the event spo...

Okay no means to brag but I was just at the Pembroke Hill Inventational last Sat. (a MO. team) and achived on low 1500 millivolts and on high 2000 millivolts (they had to go one step higher than 200 dcv on the volt meter, it was pretty funny) on their set up, but it didn't look like a standard testi...

has anyone thought of using a HDD motor for battery buggy? I don't know how you would make a stepper configuration light enough so that it accually moves but if its possible i'd like to see :D

Oh thanks. My design won't really have any switches, except for the main power but that's bout it. Any other thoughts on how to shut off power or to cut the circuit?

I thought that rules stated the testing platform needed to be slick? Did it not?. I use our science tables at school, which are relativity slick.

Currently I don't have a problem but a friend of mine usually does. He builds a 14+ cm wings with mylar, and half of the test flights he fly's stall. Is this a reason because of it is getting too much lift? Or is there maybe some other explanation.
