Re: Remote Sensing C

Based on my previous experiences with this event, it is helpful to have a basis in ecology and reading maps. It does help to have done Road Scholar in B division, but not essential. This really is an event that requires vast amounts of previous knowledge as well as studying, though it can be hard to...

Re: XKCD Anyone??

I would have to say that XKCD is my favorite regularly updated webcomic on the 'nets, but my favorite webcomic is Megatokyo, but it has an irregular update pattern. XKCD is the funniest though :D

How do I upload an avatar that is a good picture that fits within the parameters. Everything I try is too big and anything that fits looks terrible. Can someone help me?

Re: Optics B/C

Can someone help me understand the difference between a real image and a virtual image? I have read a couple of definitions of them and the Physics behind them, but they aren't exactly clear.

Re: It's About Time C

This event can be a real pain. The clock building part is easy, I have done that, but I need more info on the written test. The rules don't help with only three example problems, and I have already gotten all I can get out of the links on the National Website. Could somebody help me with this problem?

Re: The classic video games

One of my favorite games is pretty old for game standards, but I'm not sure if the majority would consider it classic, but I do. I really like the original Starcraft put out by Blizzard and I also like The original UT GOTY edition. Those are good games

Re: Worst books

The absolute worst book that I have ever had the misfortune of reading was The Great Gatsby. I was forced to read it and it absolutely sucked. Its pretty much 7 chapters of going to parties with no purpose and then someone dies. I would like to go Fahrenheit 451 all over that book. If The Great Gats...
