Are you allowed to use an adhesive to "grab" the objects, or must a physical grasping mechanism be used? This is an interesting thought, however keep in mind that you need to also 'release' the objects. How would you go about doing that? Theoretically I could have an adhesive pad with a s...

While re-reading the rules to Sumo Bots, I realized that there is actually a rule specifically against stalling tactics such as the one mentioned.

In my experience, a concave "scoop" is best--assuming you can undercut your opponent's bot.
