Re: Battery Buggy B
wait, in the rules it says that you can get the 20 point bonus if the wheels do not cross the center line. How does that work with a 3 wheeled vehicle? since 1 wheel will always be on the line? as long as part of the weel base encompasses the center line. Both of you are wrong, because the rules sa...

Re: Battery Buggy B
back wheel powered and all wheel braking works best. No, actually. That burns out the motor. You need a good kill-switch and someone who doesn't destroy things by touch, like Josh Curtis or Jack Fishman. lol jack is good. he at least works. AND JACK IS GOOD?! HOW IS HE GOOD? YOU'RE NEVER IN THE COM...

Re: Battery Buggy B
i don't think you can destroy it, just get a new motor. Well, he messed up his buggy by melting the motor. It just died. So he's using mine, because I'm not in the event anymore, and the gears don't even work. i did more on it than you. by the way who got third? whos an alternate? who got mr....

Re: Battery Buggy B
may I ask how you allwheel break? Is that even possible with a threaded rod/wingnut? Yes, it is. You just have two wingnuts, and one kill-switch. But I wouldn't recommend it because Jocool DESTROYED his buggy. He's using mine, and he DESTROYED that one, too. (By trying to max out the speed by chang...

Re: Battery Buggy B
My Battery Buggy is having some problems with going completely straight. I'm almost completely sure that the issue lies in how the axle and wheels are attached, and how bent the axle might be. The front axle is a regular thin metal cylinder with large rubber wheels attached (I think that is fine) a...

Hey, how many blades are good for the CD? 2,3, or 4? and, the regionals test had virtually nothing on what the main topic SHOULD have been, wind physics (and maybe renewable energy) but it mostly had heat transfer and specific heat. I still dont know how i got a medal!

Re: Sumo Bots B/C [NY Trial]
Yeah, I was quite surprised too, especially since ours was a custom built bot. I later found out that the guy had laser cut some sort of plexiglass/plastic (I didn't get a good look) to form a perfect blade on all four sides of his Vex bot (it was a pyramid-shaped thing). It would have been no prob...
