Re: Ohio 2011

Well, there was a mix-up with our two teams' forensics scores being swapped, which would've affected the team placing a little, but it was a terrible day for our team as a whole at Solon. Just terrible. I did ok in my events, but now I have to try to figure out a way to dig us back out of this funk ...

Re: Ohio 2011

St. Ignatius will also not be attending, as we take only one long distance (read: overnight) trip before states, and that'll be to Chicago the 12th - so basically 4 of the top 5 from last year won't be there, but Centerville is the one that will AFAIK

Re: Bad Event Coordinators

Really? My partner and I mentioned it to our teammates, but we didn't realize we could file an appeal or anything official; we figured the test would stand once it was given (and the alternative would've basically been throwing the event out). As it turned out, it likely wouldn't have made much of a...

Re: Bad Event Coordinators

Or more interestingly, the Third Crusade, which also had four major leaders/kings: Richard I (aka the Lionhearted) of England, Henry II of Champagne, Phillip II of France, and Frederick I of Germany

Re: Scioly Assassination 64: The Hosts of History Arise

Could also perhaps refer to one of the four leaders of the First crusade (cynically speaking, they were about riches): Adhemar of Le Puy, Raymond IV (of Toulouse), Bohemond I of Antioch, and Godfrey of Boullion

Re: Scioly Assassination 53: The Wanderer

This was an excellent game. Most of the clues left me stumped, so I was fairly silent throughout, but I was paying as close attention as I ever have. Excellent and fun round
