well,the binder clip has something sticking up out of it so i can be easily aligned (with something in the back) States in 2 days

no, theres a small paper ruler on the front so say, for 6 meters, we put the binder clip at like 5.5cm or something

ea ,i ran a quick test, and coffee filters have almost NO EFFECT on the food coloring :( :( :(
anything else that works?

Those black things with the things that bend back? Or is a binder clip something else well known and obvious which I am apparently missing because I'm kind of tired?
Yup thats the one. we have apaper ruler to measure/remember the exact position

Since we can't get activated charcoal, instead of food coloring what should we use for contamination (we dont have beads)? Maybe some sort of powdered drink mix like Kool Aid. Fine-grain salt might work or salt water if you can filter out the salt with a coffee filter or some other form of filter. ...

Gratz on Nats...my school only made Nats once, and that was 24 years ago (the team that wins every year was formed around 18 years ago)
our buggy is pretty consitent, how do you align yours?
