Does anyone know why there is not just one national test that all regional competitions use? Why do they make each regional come up with their own tests? Because (and please don't think I'm being grouchy because I didn't study enough and the test was difficult--because it's just the opposite) it is ...

Was there anything that anyone encountered on their test (for Regionals or States) that kind of threw them off or wasn't on the rules? States is tomorrow... last minute cramming... and tabbing

Just know a bunch about your specific state, maybe. But you probably already knew that

This is the core of what my event supervisor wrote me: "I don't see a problem with having typed-out tabs to help you find a particular place in your field guide, kind of like post-it notes or page markers."
