Just as a PSA, there's now a really good set of statistics learning guides on the soinc website for disease detectives in case anyone is struggling with the new math.

Man, it feels really weird to not be competing in this event after doing it for 5 years. Best of luck to all of you who actually are!

I had the chance to talk to GrayEpi about some of the planned changes for next year, and I do agree that they are quite exciting! (Though don't ask me for any details on them - as GrayEpi noted, info will only be coming from soinc)
