Doesn't CaCO3 not even dissolve at room temperature? How could they make a solution out of a nonsoluble salt?

I'm almost finished with my flowchart for qualitative analysis. On average, how long should it take you to identify 8 powders? yes it's a whirligig beetle larvae. also their cocoon is made out of mud. So i guess gigaboo can go next

Glaciers. Oceanography was the topic before Earthquakes/Volcanoes so glaciers are next in the rotation.

So most tests so far I've seen provide 46% IPA, Vegetable oil, Distilled water, 10% NaCl, and Saturated NaCl. Saturated NaCl solutions I think are around 26.8% NaCl. This won't be able to separate PC and PMMA by density, so is there any advice on how I should do this? I mean, if they give me a 25% ...
