Anyone have any idea of whats going to change next year? Probably dimensions and maybe scoring, but nothing major should change I would expect.

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

Any ideas of what distances Nationals will have in store. A lot of people that I have talked to think both are going to be in the upper half like 6.3 and 7.6. Any thoughts or ideas of what might come?

I have a question regarding the running of Air Traj at my state competition this past weekend. For the bucket shot, the proctors measured the distance that the ball landed away from the center of the bucket. From reading the rules, I thought that for a bucket shot, you could only get points by hitti...

At the Texas State Tournament a team that has qualified for nationals reached 2:42 in a ceiling about 17 feet high. How are people doing in your State?

Could anybody tell me if prior experience from Dp (fresh waters) would help for this event?

Re: 2013 Nationals Opening Ceremony Keynote Speaker

I think that Salman Khan would be great. I'm sure most of us have watched at least one of his videos, and he does some science stuff too, like Astronomy and Genetics. Also, he looks like a pretty good speaker: http://vimeo.com/11731351 Thats a really good idea. He is really good in explaining topic...

Re: Experimental Design B/C

We wrote that lemonade was the mos acidic, sprite an apple juice were equally as acidic as each other but not as acidic as lemonade, and water was the least acidic. And how did you graph that? That's the problem: "lemonade - sprite - apple juice - water" is not a quantitative axis. Argh, this makes...

Re: National Results Discussion

By the way, where did you hear that the Japanese team will in fact compete for points next year? I don't recall this ever being said at either of the nationals ceremonies. I am really sure that they didn't say that cause then there would be a lots more hype about the Japanese teams for next year. I...
