Re: Awesome Aquifers B

Is there any difference between a confining layer and an impermeable layer? My definitions of them seem confusingly similar.

Re: Ornithology B/C

Ok, so I'm not in Ornithology this year (I was in about ten events and my head coach was giving me the evil eye), but I thought I'd post some tips for what helped me when I was. Give little nicknames to the birds. When you see them, you'll think of the name and correlate the real name later. My part...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

Ok, so what I have the hardest time with is 2x2 tables. Could someone give me a list of all the calculations they can be used for and how to calculate said calculations? This is my biggest issue in this event.

Re: Fossils B/C

Ha xD I have an AMAZING friend who coaches for our fossils and R&M teams, but we covered most of the fossils material so lately he's been getting this evil smile and talking about rocks. Since he's a junior this year, he's glad he can compete again next year. Could someone explain to me what the bas...

Re: Microbe Mission B/C

arent the prokaryotes multi-celled organisms like us and eukaryotes are single celled, like bacteria? Flipflop your definitions. Prokaryotes are simpler cells that only have a cell membrane and maybe a cell wall, cytoplasm, ribosomes, and DNA floating around (they don't have nuclei). They are usual...

Alright, so I'm having a really hard time finding any good algae schematics. Can someone fill me in on the basics of algal biology?

I agree in that I think mosasaurus has a broader paddle than plesiosaur. Also, I'm relatively certain that mosasaur has one more digit on it's longe...

Wow, I'm really excited for Kenston Invitational this weekend, it's the first competition of the season for me.
Does anyone know who else is going?
