Any idea when that test could be posted? In NJ we didn't have Materials at Regionals or at States and we got snowed out for all of our invites so I'm really desperate for some practice Materials tests.

So just for clarification, are flame test results required in differentiating PVC and PETE? Likewise are they required for PC/PMMA?

That is very saddening :( For labs, I do agree that synthesis are just maybe out of the question.. however we could pair it with something else with a doable lab, like acid base or electrochem. I just think that chem lab has turned more into a speed/accuracy test than a test of knowledge, and using ...

So how do people feel about the new topic being equilibrium and periodicity? I think that equilibrium is a good idea, but there's too many types of equilibrium.
