Apparently, I had the lightest boomilever at the regional competition. Wasn't that beneficial unless I could somehow get it to carry at least 4000 grams.

Last year, we built a really solid straw and clay salinometer using thicker clay and a clear, strong straw and did very well at the regional level, but then at states the salinometer didn't fit into the beakers that they supplied.
