Re: Flight B/C
Please note: Ray Harlan does have rubber strippers in stock, he just made a batch of 100. His website shows no order form, you need to contact him by the email that is on his site, https://indoorspecialties.com/. I do not know the current price of his rubber stripper, but it should be around $200. ...

Re: Flight B/C
So our kids' plane seems to like somewhere between .057-.062 g/in 3/32 rubber. We are still dialing in density based on the different props we are trying. The problem is we are not finding the right density in our remaining batch. We have a 1/4 box of FAI Tan Supersport 3/32 and started from one en...

Re: Plane stalling after launch
Hello! We are currently using the J&H aerospace Stinger, and we've been noticing that our plane turns nose up quickly after we release it, climbs 4-5ft almost straight up, and stalls, and after stalling two or three times and not gaining altitude, it then flies relatively flat. However, the lat...

Re: Flight B/C
Hey guys! Haven’t been on the forums for a good while because I didn’t have nearly as many questions or as much time as I did last year. For Ohio states this year, scioly got kicked out of the French Field House(OSU’s indoor track), where we’ve flown for a good number of years, into an RPAC gym(in ...

Likely. https://scioly.org/wiki/index.php/Past_Event_Rotations Each event usually sticks around for at least two years. Soinc also released a "Predicted Event Slate" for 2024-2025, although I can't find the link to that. https://www.soinc.org/sites/default/files/uploaded_files/VBCSchedule...

Re: Flight B/C
I like, especially at States, to have two planes checked in. Why? Because anything can happen on flight 1. Without a second plane, you are done. I have seen it all. Last year at States, one team hung their only plane in a hanging microphone in an auditorium first flight. Another team had two planes...

Re: Flight B/C
So my kids have one more set of materials from a kit to make one more plane. We already have a decent plane that is minimum weight and doesn't have any serious damage or warps or whatnot as far as we can tell. So I'm not sure what the benefit would be to making another, except it looks like Helicop...
