Re: Helicopter Flight Times

Is there anyone who's breaking into the 2:20ish area with a device sizably over the minimum weight? Also for those of you at 2.5g, what are your component weights. I can hit 2 minutes with a 3.5g helicopter and from what I've seen here cutting down the weight to 2.5 would help a ton but I'm weighin...

I do not know whether the raw scores will be released or not but I placed fourth in the event with ~2320. Hope that helps.

Re: Pennsylvania 2016

Since no one in PA is active anymore, I guess I'll start some discussion. Was Great Neck South always that good? I would have predicted them to be around 6th or 7th at Valley Forge (although maybe I'm just overestimating PA teams). Also, whatever happened to Athens' tournament? Keep in mind that Ha...

Does anyone know what we're expecting to see from some of the building events?

Re: Pennsylvania 2015

I really don't think Penncrest will get first. It would take an absolutely spectacular turnaround to make up that much ground past all of the other teams. Well that's partially what my reasoning has to do with, but honestly I don't either, I was just saying that if they make it to nats it will be i...

Re: Pennsylvania 2015

I'm not sure why but I have a gut feeling that things are going to get really shaken up this year, as in I'll be pretty shocked if both Harriton and Conestoga make it. It's just a feeling. Do you think Harriton will win states? And who do you think can top Conestoga? So to set a base, how I see it,...

Re: Unofficial Rankings: Div. C

Just for you guys to think about. I see a lot of people putting Harriton near the top which I think is perfectly accurate, but I don't see anyone put another team from PA in anyone's top 10. This year we have 6-7 extremely strong teams competing for the 2 nationals spots, and my feeling is that gen...

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

I think Bernard has a pretty good idea, another suggestion would be to not have the targets dead center. Another suggestion would be to possibly weight vertical deviation more than horizontal, i.e. Vd^3/2 +Hd, as I feel that the main focus of the event is trying to get the vertical component perfect...

Re: Pennsylvania 2015

I was just wondering: Does anyone know if Penncrest not as good at regionals because of graduation or did they just have a bad tournament?
