Re: Duke University Science Olympiad

National event slate or NC? Or will you split it like Texas?
We will be running the national events with some of the NC events as trials! I hope that answers your question!

We are in the process of working with administration to be able to run a very smooth competition. Unfortunately, because the basketball schedule is not yet set, we are...

Re: Road Scholar B

What are most questions about on the tests? Can someone explain the UTM system and the Public Land Survey System? Also, what are the best tips to prepare for this event? I usually do the topo map part at competitions (it just works out that my partner is better at highway and I am better at topo) a...

Re: Food Science B

There was a question on one of the invitationals tests – "What is the most common base ingredient in cooking?". The answer wasn't flour. Does anyone know what the answer should be? We had the same question on the Rustin Invitation test and we asked the event supervisor whether they meant base like ...

Re: Road Scholar B

On most maps, the date of the changes made in purple will show up on the map in purple text in the bottom margin (I believe on the left side.) It probably says "Photo-Revision or Photo-Revised in (Date) " Sometimes it is tricky on some maps when there are 40 different years and they all mean somethi...
