Re: Forestry B/C
Hey people who have taken the Nats test before, do you think that test writers would do evil things like putting on Fremont cottonwood / Eastern cottonwood or other trees that are practically impossible to tell apart except for by range? It was a good fair test, lots of stations, lots of questions....

Re: Texas 2013
Our worst events are often our building events. Our school happens to have a pretty good shop, it tends to end up that when we actually use it, nothing works. Last year we tried to engrave our gravity vehicle and ended up setting it on fire. Over all, we lose points on engineering so that can't be t...

Re: Texas 2013
Well, at any rate, it seems like Friday mostly effected everyone the same way (except possibly the MagLev test and those pesky Storm the Castle winds), so I doubt the scores were impacted too much. Fortunately, Saturday went a lot better... This year has definitely inspired my team to work harder a...

Re: Forestry B/C
What did you get for that compund leaf (might have been station twenty). If I recall correctly there with 7 leaflets, toothed, but each of the leaflets was about 7" long? We got Mockernut Hickory.... by the way, we stumped by the station before it. It asked about how the tree stands out in the...

Took it yesterday and got 2nd It was all live specimens (little wilted) in a 20 station test with 2 minutes to each station. You had to iden...
