Re: Chem Lab C
Hey guys! So this is my first year in division C, but I've competed in division B for 4 years. The national website doesn't have good information on this event, does anyone have any website suggestions or books I could get to study? Thanks!

Also, the magnifying glass we had wasn't strong enough to see any medulas. No microscope? Huh. I didn't do hairs, but you probably should have br...

Re: Forestry B/C
Has anyone come across any good sites with a bunch of labeled pictures of leaves? I'm still having a hard time with identification. Leaves aren't sticking as well as birds did!! So I was wondering if anyone had any tricks or sites they would be willing to share? Our first competition is in less then...

Does anyone have any good websites for diagrams of fibers, hairs, and blood stains? Or a chart describing each plastic? I'm new to this event and I think my coach wants me to compete. Our first competition is next weekend, I need as much help and things to study as I can get!!!

Is is OK for states to put a bunch of trees on the state list that aren't on the national list? The rules say "All questions will be restricted to specimens on the Official National Tree List." Just wondering because the Michigan list has about 20 extra trees that aren't on the national l...
