Re: New York 2019

Also, try to sleep y'all! I'm laying in bed remembering all those late nights before tournaments cramming, and wishing I knew the value of naps earlier. I know it's hard- so much to learn, so little time- but try to keep your health in mind! Even just a little rest is better than none. Man, do I wis...

Re: New York 2019

I see a handful of friendly faces from my active time as a competitor! Best of luck to everyone competing at Division B Regionals tomorrow! I'll be at the Eastern Long Island tournament all day helping out. If you see me, feel free to say hi! I love meeting people from scioly, just let me tell you a...

We don't do this in New York, as far as I know.

Re: Bridge Building App

There are also these: https://bridgecontest.org/resources/pre ... -software/

Formerly called the West Point Bridge Designer, I've worked with some of the older versions. Not an app (download on Windows or Mac) but pretty cool to play around with.

Re: New York 2016

I am indeed at WM, and I still have close ties to Gelinas as well. I'm excited as well; the kids I mentor in the junior high are incredibly bright, and our high school members are hard at work as well... anything could happen! It'll be so much fun to get back into the swing of competition once the s...

Re: New York 2016

Hello everyone! It's been a while, but I'm finally coming back to Science Olympiad after a much needed break. I'm so excited for competition season to start, and I can't wait to see what happens!

Re: Your Daily Random Comment

It's sure been a long time since I've been on these boards! I'm returning to Science Olympiad this year (provided I make it through tryouts) and I'm still a mentor back at Gelinas. I'm pretty excited, though my nerves are rising up again. First test of mine is tomorrow, Cell Bio, so we'll see what h...

Congratulations to everyone who participated yesterday!

Does anyone have access to the full results? I don't see it up yet.

Re: New York 2015

*pops in* Hello friends!

Now that I'm helping out, I'll be at a few B-Division competitions. I'm going with two of our teams to Westport, CT for an Invitational on Saturday.

Best of luck to the C-Divisioners that have Regionals in the coming weeks!
