Re: Worst books

I personally hated the Eragon series. The names get confusing after a while, and Christopher Paolini stubbornly insisted on describing in detail, every single character...no wonder the last book was so thick. I rarely have the patience to read fantasy books with a large cast of characters and weird...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

Last year, I had a chart with food bourne illnesses, symptoms, incubation periods, and such, on my notesheet. Because this year's focus has changed, should I remove them? And also, what should I add to be prepared for environmental quality-based disease questions? I'm looking for specifics, such as...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

Now that we're in the middle of Invitational Season, I have one question: How much focus have you seen on Environmental Quality as a pose to the focus on Food-borne illness last year? Are there a lot of specific questions that have to do with with EQ, or are there more general questions about epide...

Re: Fundraisers

In a school a couple districts over, they eventually raised enough over years of 2-3 thousand dollar fundraisers, to buy a 40,000 dollar Corvette. They sold 1000 tickets for $100 dollars a piece, (not terrible odds, and they opened it up to the general public), and made a profit of $60,000. Our team...

Like, if a restaurant at an airport was only open on alternating days, or something? So it would always come from the same place, but at alternating times.
