Ya my proctor basically acted like I was wrong even though I proved him wrong twice. And I will infer that mean I should expect 8.7, 9.2, 9.7a,... etc. at state

So at my regionals the proctor did the distance in 1 meter increments based on 9, 10, 11... (but only 3 possible distance seem too small.), but the way I see the rule it should be 8.7, 9.7, 10.7... they both seem right to me when I thought about it. So the regional proctor I had basically told me he didn't have to follow the new rule clarification about the weight hitting the ground. Since it wasn't in the rule manual.

one of my coaches said I shouldn't use the balsa backstop since it was being dented... so I just drilled two holes for where the two horizontal wooden dowels are, on a birch 1/64" plywood, and glue that onto the front face of the backstop. It is probably now just over 1/2"...but it should be pretty...

The "and" is most likely there because it is answering multiple rule clarifications that have been sent in and that are not stated in the question posted above the answer. It is also doing it in one sentence. Which I think is to make it easier to remember and to state to people unknowing of this rul...
