I also want to post a thank you. This board helped get 2nd place at regionals, and defeat 3 teams from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (who practice every day), with only about a month of studying. I'll be going for the gold at states. :D

Would it be a good idea to include chain c as well in the model as one of the additions? I'm not really sure why we only had to do chains a and b, besides that's what they told us to do.

I have the helices colored red on jmol. Now, how do I see which amino acids they are? :(
What you do is put your mouse over the parts of the helix, and it will tell you what the amino acid is.

What exactly is the helix like structure shown in this file?
The "helix like" structure is just the beta strands of the actual protein.

I have a question on building. How do you know which end to put the blue and red end caps on?

Our shirts are grey with orange and white accents (our school colors) and say "Hayfield Science Olympiad" on the front with "Going for the Image" on the back.
