Re: Unofficial Rankings B

Oh I can't math. I meant to say that the class of 2016 (current sophomores/rising juniors) is extremely talented. Although I do expect a bit of drop-off in terms of performance compared to last year, I'm confident the div B team will still do well at Nats.

Graduate? If you mean move on to Div C, yes. Solon's 2017 class is one of the biggest and brightest.

Re: 2014 National Tournament: University of Central Florida

I remember there was a frozen yogurt shop near the awards area that was really yummy. A lot of teams like cville, wwps, and us went there after the awards ceremony.

Re: Unofficial Rankings C

Poor Bbbeast. You lost a half cent. But, Centerville lost to Solon High by only 5 points! 73-78. This means I still think they will beat Solon at nats. Yeah, I had faith in Mentor too :\. And in comparison, Solon had a team score of 52 points at states last year. That just shows how much hard...

Re: Ohio 2014

I don't know all the scores, but in Div B, Solon Middle won w/ 86 pts, and Magsig got 2nd with 119 pts.
In division C, Solon High won with 73 pts while Centerville got 2nd w/ 78 pts.
Congratulations to all teams that participated and the 4 teams that will represent Ohio at Nationals next month!

Re: Iolani Invitational

I only spotted 1 event which Solon didn't do. I think the person was out of town visiting colleges. Also, for anatomy, they switched the stations up. Probably would've make around a 45-50 pt difference if those hadn't happened.

Re: Unofficial Rankings C

1. Seven Lakes 2. Troy (CA) 3. Salon 4. Mentor 5. New Trier 6. Stevenson 7. Grand Haven 8. F-M 9. Mounds View 10. Harriton My main reasoning for Seven Lakes winning is "The South shall RISE AGAIN!!!!!!!". I'd like to rank Solon over Troy, but I'm not really sure how well they'll perform me...

Re: Will You Make it to Nationals?

This is to flavflo. Winning middle school team gives a high school SO team a boost but maybe not for the obvious reasons. Not all the Division C team were on winning teams of SO in middle school anyway since only one of the teams for each district can go on. When a team losses at the Regional or st...

Re: Ohio 2014

You can't forget Mason High School. From the results, it's really clear that neither Mentor, Solon, nor Centerville stacked. It's going to be real interesting what happens at states, when all four of those teams unleash their power. From the looks of it, the state scores will probably be a lot highe...

huehuehuehuehuehuehue... At Solon, we meet for 30 minutes every Thursday to eat the yummy homemade desserts (varies from chocolate caramel covered pretzels, multi-variety coookies, multi-variety mini cheesecakes, brownies, and other nutella/caramel covered delights) that one of our captain's moms ba...
