Re: Bungee Drop C

I've read over the rules several times, but I still don't understand a couple of things. I've been looking for pictures, but haven't been able to find any. Would anyone be willing to post a picture of the testing apparatus (I know no one wants to share their ideas)? It'll probably clear things up.

Re: Entomology B/C

Do we need to know individual species? It doesn't say that we do in the rules, but people are doing it in the Question Marathon.

Re: Suggestion...

I'd like to run with this, and suggest something that could denote the regions, too. (Like, ELI for Eastern Long Island, or C for Central) Not necessary, just a thought. I do realize that it would be an inconvient and probably uncessassary change. How many sections in NY? Nine regions, if that's wh...

Re: Future Tournament Sites

Minneapolis isn't that far from Menominne (Least, I think thats where UW-Stout is.), but it seems like a strange place to hold Nationals...... I highly doubt it's going to be there, but I don't care. I was thinking that it would be cool if it was in New York though. Thats all my ideas.... :) Yeah.....

Re: New York 2013

Yeah, they basically shred all of the papers the day after the tournament, no chance of getting them back. I do remember some of the Rocks and Minerals stuff, since I graded it, and if anyone has questions about it, I'll try to answer em. I didn't actually do Rocks and Minerals, but my friends said...

Re: What Events do you plan on doing next year?

I'm interested in Boomilever, Circuit Lab, Complex Machines, Entomology, Geo Mapping/Remote Sensing, and Technical Problem Solving, but I definitely won't get them all. There also might be a seniority issue.

Re: New York 2013

Ughh... So disappointed. 17th in my best event, and 5th in my worst. I'm so sorry that Casey and I both attacked you guys, by the way! We were late too, I hope you didn't think we ditched. Congratulations for both your team, and your personal placings! I was cheering so hard for all of you. Which e...

Re: Ongoing Contest(Scores)

I've had much more extreme ways of parents trying to see our designs. One parent at a regional was in the seats and when I walked past her, she stopped me with her hand and examined it CLOSELY (Even touching it to move it around) to try to see what we did. (BTW this was towers from last year). In a...
