Re: Water Quality B/C
If my team doesn't make a hydrometer, will we get disqualified? One of my friends said that his hydrometer broke right before the competition and he got dq'd. Now, I'm not sure if that's true or not, but is that supposed to happen?

Re: Water Quality B/C
I'm kind of cramming for SciOly this year because I have so much stuff going on right now, and just to make sure I'm not missing anything.....we don't have to identify the macro-invertebrates this year, right? Instead we have to identify the coral reef animals?

Re: Starting a SciOly team
Thank you for all the suggestions! My next obstacle is to find a way to describe Sci Oly in a couple sentences so I can attract people that have never heard of Sci Oly and are completely clueless. What I have now is something like "Science olympiad is a fun, science oriented competition club. Y...

Starting a SciOly team
I'm going to start a Science Olympiad team at my hs this year. I did SciOly back in middle school, so I get the gist of it. What I'm worried about is that no one will join, since we had a team last year but it completely fell through (and I wasn't in charge of it). And even if we do have people sign...

Re: Forestry B/C
For division C, do we need to know how trees carry out specific functions such as the Calvin cycle? I have seen some general questions about xylem, phloem, basic tree anatomy... but I've never seen anything as detailed as the Calvin cycle being asked. Oh good. I was planning on learning the Calvin ...
