Re: My score
It’s legitimate the way it works is that it would get the 5000 point bonus but can’t hold any weight at all not even the bucket And it is made out of the thinnest balsa wood I good find, it Has no supports. Do to all of that the tower weighs about 1 gram ( I don’t have a very good scale) so it’s ef...

Re: PICTURES, SCORES, VIDEOS!!!
<deleted> But did they really hold only the loading block? If a team's tower only holds the Loading Block, based on the rules, it really should be tier 4. rule 6.b says: The Load Score is the measured load supported, including the Loading Block Assembly, bucket and sand, but may not exceed 15,000 g...

Re: Boomilever B/C
I think the focus of the discussion is not about how much force variation (due to swaying bucket) is introduced by 1" vs 4" eyebolt. It is rather that with 1" eyebolt and a big eyehook, most designs would simply be implicitly prohibited. So it is no longer about design to counter the ...

Re: Boomilever B/C
I'd like to assume the common sense approach, and believe that it is NOT the committee's intention to implicitly prohibit certain designs - like Dr. Chalker "unofficially" stated above:) 2013 rules had no specification of eyebolt, but probably every ES provided common eyebolts with at leas...

Re: Boomilever B/C
Regarding the 1/4" eyebolt for loading block: In 2013 rules, there is no specification about the length of eyebolt or the size of the eye-hook portion (of the eyebolt). We have seen eyebolts' threaded bolt portion ranging from 2" to 6" (with majority being 4"~6"). Most eyebo...

Re: New Theme
Hi,
Thank you for the effort. However, can we roll back to the original theme?
This one is just too hard on the eyes and can not really see all the text well. It is also much worse on mobile devices.
The original theme is simple and effective!
Thank you!

Hi BalsamanBalsa Man wrote:Dig back- already posted/discussed....UQOnyx wrote:At least does anyone know the efficiency scores or mass for the 2007 top booms?
I heard that the 2007 rule has 20cm vertical and 2008 rule has 15cm vertical therefore the top efficiency was a little lower in 2008, is that correct? Thank you
