Re: Disease Detectives B/C

We are really confused about identifying point source, continuous source, and propagated epi curves. On certain tests it is really hard to identify the type of curve just according to the definitions. Can someone provide guidance on where we can find more information on identifying these curves? I ...

Re: Disease Detectives B/C

Hey! So this is my third year doing Disease Detectives, and they've never threw specific diseases on there besides just knowing the basics. What should I study about ebola? Thanks! :ugeek:

Re: Mission Possible B

Any opinions on whether this event is more appropriate for Div C as opposed to Div B ? I'm new to this, but it seems like there is more parental involvement than appropriate , but mostly because it seems a little beyond even the really bright kids in SO. Am I just underestimating the kids? Yeah, I ...

Re: task c

The rules say that hazardous liquids are not permitted. Seems a stretch to classify water as hazardous in such a small quantity. Re: Mission Possible B

Okay, so it's still my first year doing this. I made some plans, and if all would go well, we would be awarded about 800 points. Is that a little, or a lot? Please? If so, we shalt win for sure
