Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska

I like the ceremonies but they don't seem to go quickly to me. I'm trying to find a way to see if I can watch the division C NY awards ceremony cause it was apparently available streamed. I asked in the NY site already. If you watch from your living room the length isn't an issue. But if you are sit...

Re: New York 2015

Anyone know if the awards ceremony that was streamed is also available to watch now? Missed it but would love to see it. If it was streamed does that mean it was also recorded? Suppose I should add that I mean the Division C States results.

Re: Has there ever been a miscounting of points?

Seasalt, are you asking this question because you believe that a mistake was made on a specific event or are you thinking that it would be beneficial to review the results of each event in the hopes of finding an error that, if corrected, would elevate your team?

Re: New York 2014

To Mr Boyd 1.You find it interesting that Great Neck South didn’t garner the same level of support as WM. What are you alluding to? What difference between the schools are you implying is responsible for the bigger response to WM? Its some difference you don't feel should be impacting but I'm not su...

Re: New York 2014

Casyotis Maybe I should have called it an ethical dilemma. We discuss these things in my church group which is why I called it moral. But don't you think it is an ethical dilemma? Wiki definition "An ethical dilemma is a complex situation that often involves an apparent mental conflict between moral...

Re: build injuries

I was helping at regionals. An event supervisor asked me to get him a soda.Someone else asked me to bring a box from team room. Got lost because I didn't know Fisher at all then. After wondering around I finally found a pop machine. I balanced the can on top of the box. I was late so I started to ru...

We had no way of knowing how the bands had been kept. We did not even know it could be an issue. We learned quick.

Re: New York 2014

Gemma W. I understand very clearly. Agree with your ultimate goal.It would be great If the board can change the rules a few days before States. Even if that is not possible, they could take a more thoughtful approach to the way they make decisions. Few adults in important jobs stick to rules when st...

Maybe let people know when you plan to submit it. I bet you'd have a lot more by tomorrow morning but that may be waiting too long.

Re: New York 2014

The current situation can be described as a moral dilemma. Allowing WM to compete entails giving them an exception to the rule that late registration disqualifies a team. Allowing an exception can have consequences. It may make it more likely that other teams miss the deadline by a day or two. On th...
