Re: Poorly Run Event Stories
Okay, this just happened today. For Experimental Design, our proctor arrived ten minutes late, and when we entered the classroom, there were no materials at all. Everyone in the room had to walk over to the classroom next door where Division B Experimental Design was testing to get materials from th...

Re: Events 2015-2016?
The 2015/16 events look pretty good, but I have some concerns regarding Anatomy and Physiology. First of all, how come the integumentary system, instead of cardiovascular, is being tested along with Skeletal and Muscular? Don't systems rotate out every two years? Integumentary has been around for tw...

Re: Proudest Moments
One of my proudest moments would have to be when I built my lyre for Sounds of Music. I had less than a month until the state competition with no engineering experience at all, but I was determined not to let down my partner. I found some templates online, researched the theories, and spent countles...

Re: Scioly Summer Study Session 2015
This is the third year that I will be participating in SSSS, and I can't wait to get started! This program has really benefited me in prepping for my events and becoming familiar with the various concepts early on. Great way to learn how to make good practice tests too!

Re: Cell Biology C
Thanks for all the replies! I'll definitely check out some of the sources you guys recommended! I also found it helpful to watch a lot of YouTube videos and take notes. :) I cry. HEREDITY IS MY BBY :( oh well. I feel ya. Heredity/Designer Genes was the best event. Cell Biology seems a lot similar th...

Re: Scioly Summer Study Session 2014
I submitted a practice test to SSSS and was approved, but I never gained access to the SSSS sub-forums. I emailed you guys about this a few days ago but has yet to receive a reply. Does anyone else have this problem? SSSS 2014 ended last Friday, but all resources submitted will be available to all ...

Re: Events that 'go together'?
Anatomy and Heredity? Also perhaps Anatomy and Disease detectives depending on the topic. Rocks and Minerals and Dynamic Planet works well too. I also found from experience that Crime Busters and Heredity can go pretty well together, since they often ask a lot of questions regarding DNA in Crime Bus...

Re: Cell Biology C
I'm planning on joining this event. Does anyone have any useful resources? From what I know, it's basically AP Bio, right?

Re: Anatomy & Physiology B/C
You can also try some practice tests from the test exchange, or try out the new quizzing page. last year, vennowsah's test looked good, hopefully he's entered one again. Why thank you! And yes, I have submitted a new one; it should be posted soon. :) As for resources, like I mentioned in my post fr...
