Re: Scrambler C

In the rules it defines the scrambler as the egg transport and the launcher. You are correct. Many thought that scrambler is referred to only moving vehicle. At WSU, Solon had great runs but were warned by the event supervisor for construction 'cause a portion of string fell on ground during launch...

Daniel Wright (DW) beat Solon in all conventional metrics: Total Medals - DW: 14 vs Solon: 13 Gold Medals - DW: 6 vs Solon: 2 Gold/Silver/Bronze - DW: 9 vs Solon: 7 Top 10 Events - DW: 17 vs Solon: 16 However, Solon beat DW a mere 5 points in this category, which determined the final outcome: Point...

Surprised your school out of top ten at nationals, after winning WSU Invitational in Jan. (beating Solon, DW, and MM).

Thanks for your info. 25 pts was an excellent score early this season. It seems that competition stepped up big time at nationals. To get 12 pts means that travel time must be less than 2.5 sec with 0 target error. Amazing!

Re: Unofficial Rankings, Division B

To win the div. B title, you may have to use 9th graders, IMHO. Also to win the Div. B title, you may have to study more. You may have to practice with your partners more. You may have to roll down a hill screaming "MUDSLIDES FOR PANSIES" in an orange T-shirt before every competition. There's not r...

Re: Unofficial Rankings, Division B

Thanks for comfirming what I heard - among top 4 this year, only Solon used 9th graders. To Solon's credits, they are able to get 9th graders back. Somehow, DW, MM,and MM (MI) did not want to or failed to do so. To win the div. B title, you may have to use 9th graders, IMHO. MM last year and DW this...

Re: Unofficial Rankings, Division B

9th graders helping formal MS is perfect legal, as I already stated. It is a personal choice, some feel fine and others may not. Do not want to debate here.am just saying I heard top 4 schools only Solon used 9th graders and wondering if that is true for all 4 schools. Regardless, it was an exciting...

Re: Unofficial Rankings, Division B

Which team would won div. B champ yesterday had 9 graders not come back to their formal school? I think Daniel Wright. What is your answer?

I heard top 4 schools yesterday only Solon used 9 graders (rules permit, of course). Is ithat true?

BTW, congrat everyone at nationals. You all are winners!
