Re: Ohio 2016
They point out rule 4f, "on or adjacent to the track surface". The track surface was the same where they were testing it. I am confused why that part of the question is up for debate there. The "track surface" had technically not been defined at the time Centerville was testing....

Re: Events 2015-2016?
-Several competitors (perhaps some of you all?) who competed in it and actively 'complained' to the supervisor about how Scratch wasn't a true coding tool ended up not doing very well in the event. This is something we've heard from other states as well.... My friend who's mastered Python, C++, Vis...

Re: National test discussion
A&P (6th): pretty good exam, better than last year's (where a few exam questions were repeated and the test looked like it was shoddily assembled...). It was run in a stations format, which I was not expecting at nationals, and there were some pretty tough questions, and the one station where we...

Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska

The link is below: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/12GWZizPfI0wHmRpZXmKLV2WHOvuhGWcry1x5E8uJbaU/edit?usp=sharing I probably will need some help entering in the events, however, so if anyone would like to help me out, just si...

Re: Prediction Contest!
It's back, but with a different look! Prediction Contest! More details about each contest are in the form, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask! The form will close the day before Nationals, and results will be announced sometime after Nationals. I might have a prize... Shoutout to John ...

Re: Astronomy C
I was looking over the test from the PA states tournament and I cant seem to get the same answer as the key for #59 on section three of the Astronomy test. Basically you are given the orbit of a planet around a star and you are asked to calculate the total mechanical energy of the system. I got the...

This is probably one of the most eclectic event lists at nats, ye...
