Re: National Test Discussion

Chalker, I'm from Ladue Middle School and competed in Invasive Species (Division B). I was wondering how my partner and I missed 40 points on the national test(according to an earlier post where you answered how many points we missed) where we thought we missed maybe 10-15 at max. Re: UChicago SciO

I think Tad Komacek (tad_k_22 I believe), one of the national event proctors for Astronomy, goes to or went to UChicago. Maybe he could help :) Doesn't he currently live in Massachusetts though? Re: State Tournament Results

Does anyone know what happened in Nebraska or Connecticut? Those are the only states left that have gone but the results aren't up.
Nebraska B:
1st: Bellevue Mission (Qualifying)
2nd:Bellevue Logan Fontenelle

Nebraska C:
1st: Lincoln Southwest (Qualifying)
2nd: Lincoln East

Re: How Hard is it to Win Nationals???

I medaled last year in astronomy, and could have easily medaled in bungee drop if I used my actual calculations instead of playing extremely safe for the team score. For astronomy, I studied about three hours a day for a month in the summer, and studied at about 4 hours a day the week preceding nat...

This is the first time I've heard of an online invitational. How can my team sign up next year?

Re: Green Generation B/C

Desertification or deforestation
Although that is correct, I was looking for a different answer.
This picture was taken on the edge of the Sahara Desert
Is it
The Great Green Wall? The initiative in Africa to combat desertification?
