Re: How to get to Nationals and beat Troy
I am a Troy alum. Troy's success comes from their dedication to Science Olympiad. Additionally, people like to and will work hard to win. Put those two together and you have an unbeatable competitor at the States level, as Troy's reputation as a winner precedes itself. Several people have commented ...

Re: Scores B/C
Can someone post a picture of one or more of the bridges that medaled this year. The strong rumor is that they are going to go to the elevated bridge for 2016, so copying will not be much of a factor. yeah it probably will be elevated bridge, but why wouldn't copying be a factor? you just put a reg...

Re: Events 2015-2016?
Does anyone know if the division C event will be Bridges or Elevated Bridges? Looks like Elevated Bridges. Unpopular opinion here: I kind of like Scratch. I have very little programming experience. I have started quite a few online coding courses but never completed them and didn't retain much. Scr...

Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska
Did anyone else think Bungee Drop was run horrendously? The drop mechanism was awful - it was a platform that you flipped in order for the bottle to drop. First of all what comes with this is the danger of the bottle tipping over on its side/flipping over as it falls. If they were gonna go with thi...

I'd say maybe top 10, but I don't see it getting a medal at flat 2000.sjwon3789 wrote:What place do you think a score of 2000 will be in division C? It's so ironic, since everyone was amazed at getting above 2000 and it's quite a norm now.

Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska
I thought like organizations made the test and some random person proctors. For example, Disease Detectives Test is made by the CDC, but the people in there aren't actually from the CDC, they just know enough about the topic to answer questions involving material on the test. not strictly true. i d...

Re: Bungee Drop C
Im not sure if any of you know this but the heights from last years nationals were only around 5-6 meters. It is likely that the heights will not be any higher this year. From the photo of the event location posted , if they have the setup by the rails, it looks like it'll be around 4-5 meters. Unf...
