Re: Texas 2014
While I think competitors like myself would love to see their own tests back, I think I agree that it is probably better to not have them handed back for regionals/state. On the other hand, the fact that we got blank copies with answer keys was great because we were still able to review our mistakes...

Re: Texas 2014
Info about UT Regionals: (if anyone else went please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong about any of this) Pros: Dusty Scroder (not sure how to spell his name) & the other coordinator (forgot his name) are really into science olympiad and were super determined to make sure it was a good tourna...

Re: Texas 2014
To anybody who went to the UT regional how was the tournament. Hey, I was at the UT regionals. It was admirable that they were trying really hard to make it as close to nationals as possible with state events and the drop system added in. There were definitely some glitches, but hey, they had all t...

Re: Swap Meet!
Hey everyone,
My team qualified a few days ago from Texas, is there anything you guys think you'd be interested in getting from Texas? (It's only our second year going to nats and we didn't really bring much of anything last year...)

Re: Texas 2014
Well, as far as awards went, I'm happy that they didn't follow what Hopper/Husky did though I do think giving Clements both 1st and second place for sweepstakes wasn't the best idea. As far as the contest went, the WGYN proctor had to be corrected on the time, WIDI was super screwed up, Chem Lab was...

Re: Texas 2014
Clements needs to stop trolling these. On the real, Clements is going to try to go to Hendrickson if we can - we hope other teams will join in because competitions are only fun/worth going to when there are a ton of teams! Also, I was super disappointed with the new awarding style and it seems like ...

It's always been chem lab for me. It seems like anyone who has been through AP Chemistry would have such an easy time with it

Re: Texas 2014
They're a school from Fort Bend ISD (same as Clements High School). They went to state last year for the first time I believe. Their feeder middle school (Sartartia Middle School) also does science olympiad. Hopefully that answers your question, not sure how else to answer a who is question...

Re: Texas 2014
Anyone know if UT has a site or when one will be up for regional information?
