Re: 2015 National Tournament: University of Nebraska

Was there a specific reason for making all engineering events walk in? I just see it being hectic. Especially with bungee because everyone wants to go last. Maybe it'll be fine but it sounds like a stressful plan.

Re: Texas 2015

Keep up the good work, and remember, quantity over quality But also remember, quality and quantity for friendships! As a Californian sits in the corner and reads this for its enterta...

.... even though state FAQs supersede national FAQs at the state level. I'm glad you brought this up here. I wasn't aware of this specific FAQ, and while State FAQs do overrule National ones, I've reached out through my contacts to suggest this particular state FAQ be changed. Thank you so much!!!

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

Ya I'm talking with my coach tomorrow about it and hopefully we can sort it all out. It's just stressful that this is happening the week before competition. I agree with you that it would seem like you can't even use a pump but I could see them allowing a piston design on the basis that all you are ...

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

This was posted on the NorCal state competition faq page "Question: If a student blows into a soda bottle to restore it's shape after a launch, is that allowed under rule 3b. (I believe it's the same rule B and C division) The issue came up at Regionals, with disagreement about whether changing the ...

Re: Air Trajectory B/C

I was just wondering... Overall I'm excited for this event though its going to be a lot with scrambler as well. Im really interested in starting and seeing how prototypes work. I foresee a lot of issues with consistency but I guess that'll be the fun part cause the majority of what I have done is ca...

Re: Bungee Drop C

Obviously it would be really nice to have a standard drop mech in the rules but since that hasn't happened the least proctors could do for all competitions (specifically for states and Nats) is post a video of how it works. I remember seeing pictures for the drop mech last season and often times it ...
