Re: Highest Scores this Year

Another note: The teams who are complaining are those of the top ten. We attend COUNTLESS tournaments and MAKE SURE we follow the rules.

Re: Highest Scores this Year

Strange, since my team appealed, Troy's team appealed, and the team just mentioned above me seemed to have as well. Isn't that already 3 rejected? Also, the arbitration committee "solicited input" only from the event supervisor, and I was never allowed to say a single word to them. In addi...

Re: Highest Scores this Year

Completely agreeing with you. The fact that all of the complaints were ONLY at table 8 made the ruling quite ridiculous....

Re: Highest Scores this Year

53x53x53 The event supervisor at table 8 took away points from people's device because of a specific ruling of his, numerous appeals were sent in (including Troy and myself) and the rules committee rejected these appeals. Sad thing is that if we had been at one of the other 8 tables, things may have...

Re: Meaning of Rules

I think kovai2000 is asking whether reusing a mechanism to lift the ball can be considered as NOT a part of the ETS. I personally think this is allowed, in the rules it states that the ETS "causes the next golf ball to move toward and into a scoring jug". So, as long as the ETS is initiate...

Re: Designs

It's been suggested to submit FAQs, however, it's been over 2 months since another FAQ has been posted. I've asked several questions and without them being answered, I'm not exactly sure how to proceed. The last thing someone wants is to be DQd at state or have to redo there entire device a couple w...

Re: Designs

A lift could be used to lift several golf balls (one at a time, each one triggering the next one), but these golf balls would only receive 2 points each. If the lift was used to lift a golf ball that began a transfer (an ETS transfer), then it can only be used once according to the statement, "...

Re: Designs

The new FAQs are unclear, for a golf ball to be scoreable must they start below still? Or can they just have to end up below at some point?
