Re: Your Daily Random Comment
That moment when you check your phone and see the email announcing the opening of registration for SO in your state and realize it no longer applies to you.

Re: Do people normally get States/Regionals tests back?
We get regionals tests back right after the awards ceremony, but we've never gotten state tests. We have found grading errors in regionals tests, but we've never contested them since they didn't affect whether we got a state bid. I've always assumed that non-invitational competitions (especially sta...

Re: Your Daily Random Comment
I just switched my division to grad.
Semi-related update: I just sent a wrap-up email to the team and parents from my personal email account instead of the team email account. The last of the many screw-ups that I've made during my captaincy.

Re: Nationals Event Discussion
The majority of my events (Astro: 29th; Disease: 31st; Fossils: 13th) were run well in my opinion, and the tests were an appropriate length and difficulty for Nationals. Re: 2019 National Tournament: Cornell University
The Tournament Google Map looks cool! What’s the best way to use it on mobile, just in a browser?

Re: Scioly.org Meetup Thread!
Now that we have a location for the swap meet, does anyone have a floor plan of the place? Ideally we'd have a spot predetermined for the meetup. I should add that the location of the swap meet and the opening ceremonies are a ~20 minute walk apart (Barton Hall to Robert Purcell Community Center). ...

Re: Tax Exemptions?
I think it depends on how each team runs their finances. We have an account through the school, and we never have to pay tax on anything. Whenever we pay for something, our school bookkeeper needs have to have a W9 from that vendor (but I'm not sure if that W9 is associated with tax exemption at all...

Re: 2019 National Tournament: Cornell University
I noticed that on the Activities Schedule, it says that students must bring their meal card/lunch ticket to the boxed lunch pickup on Saturday. Will coaches be able to pick up the whole team's set of boxed lunches at once, or should students go individually to get lunch?
