Re: Events 2015-2016?
Chalker, are you able to tell us what the other events that had strong pushback were? I admit that this caught my attention, too. However, I expect that we won't be hearing that detail ;) . On a different note, I worry a bit about invasive species as the ID event. Entomology is like my favorite eve...

Re: Events 2015-2016?
On a different note, I worry a bit about invasive species as the ID event. Entomology is like my favorite event ever, but even it was easy at most invites, both years at state, and even last year at nationals (props to the coordinator this year though for a great test). So I'm trying to imagine an e...

Re: Entomology B/C
We got 4th and definitely missed a minimum of 3, possibly more like 4 or 5. Two of those were anatomyPsychrolutesMarcidus wrote:For those of you who did well in this in div C at nationals, how many questions do you think you got wrong? Re: Entomology B/C
From what my partner told me, the list and overall rules will be almost identical to this year's...maybe with a few new additions (hopefully they get rid of Dactylopiidae...it's just so weird ).SOnerd wrote:I'm doing ento next year, and I was wondering if they usually change the list at all...

Re: Nationals Raw Scores
You can add entomology to that list as well. I know we missed 3 (pretty sure that's it), but two of those were correctable. The winners almost definitely missed 1, which would be the most ambiguous fill in the blank question i have ever seen. Also no, they never release raw scores

Re: Entomology B/C
I actually kinda liked the tiny specimen... They were at least a small challenge in relation to the rest of the test. The two huge issues were that they used the most straight-forward specimens (i.e. the horntail and swallowtail) and the questions were copied straight out of the Audubon. I could've ...

Did anyone else find the nationals test to be reeeaaaallllly hard? We got 46th (ouch ) but I'd like to see what some of the top teams thought of the test.
