Re: Bridge Building App

Here's a link to a website that lets the user make different designs and apply loads. It's not a tablet app, but it gets the job done.

Re: Scores B/C

Rough estimate for C division

1. Adalai e Stevenson high school ~ 3600
2. Charter school of Wilmington ~ 3500
3. Auburn ~ 3200

Sorry if I got the school names spelled wrong. Just over heard the judges talking.

Re: Designs B/C

actually, both are correct... Cylinders provide thew best overall efficiency, but they are unpredictable as to which direction they will buckle. Squares are not quite as efficient, but you only need to brace them in 2 planes, so what is lost by going to the square may be gained back in the bracing....

Do you know if the testing apparatus at the MIT invitational was automatic or did they manually load the bucket using cups?

Re: Swap Meet!

Hey guys,

I was at the swap meeting attempting to trade an AP stat prep book. Took me a while, but I did it.
I was wondering if anyone here knows who has it/where it is? I'm interesting in seeing how far it's gotten.

thanks!
